Solar Control Glass

Glass that reduces the flow of light and solar energy into the room. They are offered with selective, absorbing or reflective glass.

Selective glass from the outside is covered with a special coating that reduces the flow of solar energy entering the building, while maintaining a relatively high level of light transmission. Sunshield can reduce the costs associated with using air conditioners in the summer. This glass can be used only in double-glazing package, it is not available in single glazing.

Absorbing glass, mass dyed brown, grey, green or blue. Glass absorbs the sun's rays, reducing light transmission and the amount of solar energy inside the building. Reflective glass, colourless or tinted, brown, grey, green or blue. The glass is coated with metal oxide so that light radiation is reflected from the glass, which creates (to varying degrees) the mirror effect. It also allows the simultaneous reduction of solar energy infiltration. Depending on the type of coating, this glass can be used as single or composite.
